To the consumer, the Gift Check works just like a gift certificate, redeemable for goods or services, anywhere the EZ Gift Check is accepted.
To the merchant accepting the Gift Check, it is a check with bank routing information on it. The EZ Gift Check gets deposited into their bank account, just like any other check.
